Specify the decision

“Buy when the trend improves” is incomplete. A research specification could instead use a named price series, a defined moving average and a condition evaluated after a completed bar. These are illustrative rule choices, not recommended parameters.

Separate signal and fill

Record whether a close-based signal is submitted for the next session or another executable time. Do not assume a decision made after observing the close can automatically trade at that same close. Specify position sizing, exits, costs and missing-data handling.

Review before execution

Read the generated specification side by side with your original idea. Check units, thresholds and order timing. Freeze a version before testing, then record any changes. This site provides guides and calculators; it does not submit orders.
